Amansie West District

The Amansie West District is one of the 261 Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) in Ghana, and forms part of the 43 of MMDAs in the Ashanti Region and it was created by Legislative Instrument (L. I.) 1403 in 1988. The District was carved out of the former Amansie District in 1988 with Manso Nkwanta as its Capital.
